Donnie E. Bell

Donald E. Bell, 65 of Lometa, TX died Monday September 9, 2019 at Rollins Brook Community Hospital (Advent Health) Lampasas. He was born April 7, 1954 in San Antonio, TX to parents George Donald Bell and Glenda Faye (Mathis) Bell. Donnie grew up in Devine and graduated from high school there. He went to work for San Antonio Power and Light and became a lineman for them. He had also worked on Ft. Hood in the same capacity and finished up his career with Hamilton Electric. Donnie was a Christian, he loved fishing, playing golf and singing and playing guitar. He had also served as Lometa City Council member for 3 years. He is survived by his Children; Brandi Watkins (Josh) Ryane Bell (Russell Jacks) Cody Bell Father, George Bell Brothers; Tommy Bell (Gloria) John Bell (Missy) Randy Bell (Cassandra) Joel Bell (Shawna) 5 grandchildren; Kevin, Jace, Addison, Baylie, Kaisley   Donnie was preceded in death by Mother, Glenda Bell.   A memorial service will be Friday September 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Hills in Lometa, TX.
