Donald L Taylor Sr.

Donald Lyle Taylor Sr., 87 of Lampasas, Texas died Monday June 24, 2019 at Spring Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born July 16, 1931 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska to parents Marion A. Taylor and Harriett (Owens) Taylor. He graduated from high school and joined the U.S. Air Force and served abroad during the Korean War. He married Margaret Jo Sanchez in 1954 in New Mexico. Don worked for many years in the building industry for J.K. Richardson Co in Georgetown. He retired as a painter and builder. He is survived by his children; Jimmy Trussell Pat Markum (Patty) Mike Markum Mary Ann Shaw Jenny Horton Donna Taylor Carl Taylor Donald Taylor Jr. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive   Donald was preceded in death by his wife Margaret, by son Wayne by daughter, Christine and by grandson, Mike.    Graveside funeral service will be Friday June 28, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at Central Texas State Veteran’s Cemetery.
