Don Ray Ralph, 90, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at Advent Health Central Texas in Killeen, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2021, at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Sneed Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
Don was born March 15, 1930, in Haven, Kansas to Stewart and Mattie Ralph. He was one of five mechanics that worked on the Tucker 48, commonly referred to as the Tucker Torpedo. Most of his career was spent working at Youngstown Steel Company in Hammond, Indiana, where he retired after over 30 years of service. Don was a member of First Baptist Church of Lampasas, where he served as a Deacon.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Freda Ralph; parents, Stewart and Mattie Ralph and brother, Gene Ralph.
Survivors include his wife, Addie Mae Henderson Ralph; son, Steven Ralph; daughters, Judy Barnette, Janet Guillford; sister Donna Mae Carey and two grandchildren.
