Dolores Lynn Klein

Dolores Lynn Klein, age 61, of Kempner, passed away at home on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Monday, January 24, 2022, at Viss Family Funeral Home, 1614 S. FM 116 in Copperas Cove followed by cremation.

Lynn was born on December 30, 1960, in Colorado and was the daughter of late Carl and Dolores Ruthstrom. Carl served in the United States Air Force, which allowed the family to live in many places around the world. While stationed at Bergstrom Air Force Base, she graduated from Del Valle High School in Austin in 1977. Lynn met Samuel Klein and they later married in 1994 at Fort Hood. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree and later her Master’s Degree in Business from TAMUCT. This led her to be a professor of business administration. Lynn was always involved with her children which led her to be active in the local boy scouts and be a supportive band and sports mom for many years.

Lynn is survived by her husband of 27 years, Sam Klein; children, C.J. Klein, Brandi Weiand, Tim Klein and wife, Stephanie, Maggie Klein; brothers, Robert Ruthstrom, Richard Ruthstrom, Wayne Casey; sister, Donna Thomas; four grandchildren, Tess, Carmella, Chayce, and Trevor.
