Dianna "Dee Dee" Helgren
February 24, 1968 — August 21, 2017
Dee Dee Helgren, age 49, of Copperas Cove passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at Grace United Methodist Church in Copperas Cove. A reception will follow the service in the fellowship hall.
Dee Dee was born on February 24, 1968, in Highland Park, Michigan to John and Cathy Gregory Golembiewski. She moved around while her father served in the military and eventually settled in Copperas Cove where she attended school. Dee Dee was an active member of her community, participating in the Citizens Fire and Public Safety Volunteers Association, and CERT. Her enormous personality, warm heart, and joyful voice will be sorely missed by her family and friends, as well as all of her volunteer colleagues.
She was preceded in death by her niece, Shelby Fletcher and her father, John Golembiewski.
Dee Dee is survived by her parents, James and Cathy Stockman; son, Justin Stockman; daughter, Dallas Helgren; sisters, Kim Shepard and Rena Richey; brother, Will Mills; her grandkids, Krista and Matthew Stockman; and her nephew, James Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to her family to offset her final expenses.
