David Wayne Brueckner, age 43 of Copperas Cove, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at his home. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Scott's Funeral Home Chapel.
David was born on June 7, 1969 to John and Ann Werjin Brueckner in Ellensburg, Washington. In 1979 his family moved to Copperas Cove where his father was stationed at Fort Hood. He attended school in Copperas Cove before joining the US Navy in 1986. David served his country aboard the USS Coronado before being honorably discharged. He married Angela Arnett on April 28, 2004 in Killeen on their fifth year anniversary. David will be remembered most for his love and dedication of his son, Andrew Arnett and beloved dog; Tigger. David was an enthusiast and collector of NASCAR, fishing and golfing.
David is survived by his loving wife, Angela Brueckner; his daughter, Kallie Ann Brueckner; his son, Andrew Michael Arnett; his parents, John and Ann Brueckner; his siblings, Billy, Alan, Stuart Vanderschelden, Paul Brueckner, Penny McFarland and several beloved nieces and nephews.
