David Steans, Jr.

David Steans, Jr, 62, of Copperas Cove went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in the comfort of his home with his loving wife Tomasa by his side. Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 10 AM, at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel in Copperas Cove. Burial will follow at 12 noon at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery. David will lie in state from 9 AM until 5 PM Monday at the funeral home.
David was born January 23, 1953 in Woodville, Texas to David Steans, Sr. and Aldora Rigsby. He was a loving husband, father and friend. He loved his country for which he served sixteen and a half years in the US Army, and he also loved his Dallas Cowboys.
David was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers.
David is survived by his beautiful wife of 33 years, Tomasa Steans; children, Kenneth F. Strong, John Strong Jr., David Francisco Strong, Timothy P. Strong, Patricia Black, Sandra Yvone Tanner; brothers, Eddie G. Abram, Henry Allen Steans and Mark Abram; sisters, Anna Parks, Belva Land and Shelia Wright; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
BoBo was a wonderful man full of love and laughter, He will truly be missed.
