David B. Richardson

David Bryon Richardson, 66, of Lampasas, passed away on June 22, 2024, at Advent Health Central Texas in Killeen.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel Lampasas from 5 to 7 pm.

David was born to Emory and Florence Richardson on February 8, 1958, in Lampasas, Texas.  David and his brother, Mark, grew up in a loving family with wonderful parents.  David graduated from Lampasas High School in 1976.  

David was very proud of his military service in the US Army and was stationed at Fort Sill in Oklahoma.  During his life he had several jobs and a variety of professions.  When he passed he was employed with Wal-Mart in Lampasas, a position he had for over 20 years.  The family would like to thank the employees at Wal-Mart for treating David like family and taking care of him.

David was an avid golfer, and for the last three years, his brother would travel to Lampasas to meet him at Hancock Golf Course where they would play 18 holes and his brother would try to learn more about him.  Unfortunately, David was a very private person.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Florence Mae Richardson and Emory Merle Richardson as well as his grandmother, Hattie Mae Wesson.

Survivors include his daughters, Meagan and Brandi; his grandson, Dean; his brother, Mark and several wonderful cousins, especially Crystal and Rachel, whom he was very close to.
