D'Ann Elizabeth Baker, a compassionate soul and a devoted member of the community, has passed away at the age of 62. Born on September 30, 1961, in San Antontio and moved to Killeen in 1982. D'Ann was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and friend. Her sudden departure on November 22, 2023, at her home in Killeen has left a void in the lives of all who knew her. A private service will be held at a later date.

In her professional life, D'Ann worked diligently at the Department of Public Safety. Her dedication and commitment to her work were unmatched. Colleagues admired her unwavering spirit and tireless efforts to ensure the safety of others. D'Ann's career was a testament to her selflessness and passion for serving the community.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, D'Ann will be remembered for her kindhearted nature and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She possessed a rare ability to make everyone she encountered feel valued and loved. Her warm smile and comforting presence could brighten even the darkest days.

D'Ann is survived by her devoted husband of 25 years, Elijah Baker. Their bond was a shining example of love and commitment. Despite the challenges that life presented, their love stood strong, providing unwavering support and comfort to one another.

She is also survived by her brother, Mark Moore, whose closeness with D'Ann was a testament to their unbreakable sibling bond. D'Ann's nephew, Michael Moore, held a special place in her heart.
