Daniel Webster, Jr.

Daniel Eugene Webster, Jr., age 40, of Copperas Cove, passed away at home on Saturday, October 23, 2021.  A Memorial visitation will be held from 5-7 PM, Wednesday, October 27, 2021, with Military Honors at 6 PM at Viss Family Funeral Home, 1614 S. FM 116, Coppers Cove, TX 76522. For those who cannot attend, you may watch honors being rendered live at Viss Family Funeral Home Facebook page at 6:00 PM.

Dan was born on September 5, 1981, in Clearfield, PA to Daniel and Mary Ann (Zendek) Webster. He grew up in Mahaffey, PA and graduated from Purchase Line High School in 2001. He worked for several years before joining the United States Navy in 2007. Dan served for four years and enjoyed his time with the military, especially his time in Japan. While Dan was serving in the Navy, he met Bobbie Jo Baker and they married on January 19, 2010, in Virginia Beach. After Dan’s time with the military, they moved back to PA where he worked as a water trucker in the oil business. In 2016, they moved to Texas, where Bobbie could continue working federal service at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center. In 2020, Dan earned his bachelor's in Criminal Justice from American Military University.  Dan grew up hunting and fishing and loved teaching the kids his skills. As he got older, Dan became an avid woodworker. He could build or restore just about anything.

Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Louise Webster and Phillip and Agnus Zendek.

Dan is survived by his wife of 11 years, Bobbie Jo Baker-Webster; son, Brandon James Webster; daughter, Baylee Jean Webster; his loyal companion, Gypsy; parents, Daniel Eugene and Mary Ann Webster, Sr.; sisters, Bethann Franklin, Bambi Krause; several nieces and nephews. Dan is also survived by Bobbie’s family, whom he loved,  in Texas, Colorado and Michigan.
