Cw03 Rudolph Welch, Us Marines, Ret.

Rudolph R. Welch, age 65, of Killeen passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020. Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, February 28, 2020 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Rudolph was born on September 2, 1954 in Eagan, MN to the John and Phyllis Ravnikar Welch. He attended school in Burnsville High School and joined the United States Army from 1973 and to 1984. Rudolph proudly joined the United States Marines and served from 1988 to 1995. After his retirement, he moved to Texas and worked Civil Service. He also worked solid waste for the City of Copperas Cove and Killeen. Rudolph was a hard worker and took pleasure in being the best.

Rudolph was preceded in death by his grandson, Logan Atlas Welch.

Rudolph is survived by his daughter, Andrea Thompson and husband, Jack of Killeen; son, Billy Welch and wife, Tanya of Copperas Cove; parents, John and Phyllis Welch; brothers, Don Welch, Lester Welch; sisters, Sue Palmquist; and grandchildren, Ronald Thompson, Dakota Anderson, Mela Welch, and Yuna Welch.
