Everett Lee Ingrim, age 89, of Belton passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, May 16, 2019, at the First Presbyterian Church of Copperas Cove. Burial of his cremains will take place at a later date at Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha, NE.
Lee was born on September 24, 1929, in San Jose, CA to the late Lloyd and Alma Ingrim. As a teenager, he joined the United States Navy in 1946 and served for 22 years. While stationed at Tongue Point, NAS in Astoria, OR, Lee met Norma Roberts and they married on July 3, 1954, in San Diego, CA. In 1969, he retired from the Navy and he became Director of Records for the Omaha Police Department. He retired again in 1991 from the Police Department. They enjoyed traveling for many years before moving to Texas in 2000. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Copperas Cove. Later in his life, he discovered his artistic talent and left many paintings for his family. Lee loved his Lord, his family, his country and he lived his life serving them.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Carolyn Beauchaine, Larry Ingrim; and his son, Christopher Ingrim.
Lee is survived by his wife of nearly 65 years, Norma Roberts Ingrim; son, Michael Ingrim and wife, Naomi; two grandsons, Joel Ingrim and wife, Laura, and Nathan Ingrim. He is also survived by brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews
