Corina Kay Menendez

Corina K. Menendez, 67, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024, at her home in Lampasas.  She was born on January 2, 1957, on the base at Fort Hood, Texas to parents, Felipe Ramirez and Mary Sue Rodriguez Ramirez.

Services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel Lampasas on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 3 pm with a visitation an hour prior.

Corina grew up in Lampasas and graduated from Lampasas High School in 1975.  She went on to work for LISD where she was a beloved supporter of the Badgers and the Lampasas community.  She retired after 25 years to spend more time with her children and grandchildren.

Corina married Raul in 1981 and they spent 10 years together.  During their marriage, they had two lovely daughters, Aliana and Felisa.  These girls would grow into wonderful ladies that she was incredibly proud of. 

Corina is survived by her mother, Mary Sue Ramirez; daughters, Aliana Menendez and Felisa Menendez and husband Eric Crumley; grandchildren, Adilynn Menendez, Brielle and Coby Crumley, Auzi Rose, Jezserae, Xzaiden, and Abrizelle Pena; her siblings, Lisa Ramirez, Jesse Ramirez, Bernadette Marez, Yvette Durante and Michael Ramirez and numerous nieces and nephews.

Corina was a beloved daughter, mother, aunt, and grandmother who will be forever loved and missed dearly every day.  Her passing came much too soon, but we know that she is in a better place and will forever be watching over all of her loving family.
