Cora Ruth Farley

Cora Ruth Farley, 82 of Lampasas, TX died February 21, 2019 at a local nursing home. She was born March 9, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana to parents Glen Williams Sr. and Ruth Armildia (Holmes) Williams. She married James Henry Farley May 7, 1955 in Whittier,CA.  The family lived in California for many years. Cora belonged to New Covenant Church in Lampasas. She was a dog groomer, raised and showed Collies. She enjoyed square dancing and crochet. She is survived by son, James Henry Farley Jr. (D’Ann) Daughter, Janet Farley Estes (Terry) Brother, Glen Williams Jr. Sisters; Anita Christian and Judith Ann Farley Grandchildren; Corina Leblanc Russell, Cynthia Leblanc Carrier Great-grandchildren; Eva, Cora, Scarlett, Natalie and Clara   Cora was preceded in death by her parents, by husband James H. Farley Sr.   A memorial service will be held on Monday March 18, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at New Covenant Church in Lampasas. Cora’s body will be cremated and her remains buried at Central Texas State Veteran’s Cemetery in Killeen at 2:00 p.m. that day.
