Cody Lee Hamilton, 28, of Copperas Cove passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Scott's Funeral Home of Copperas Cove.
Cody was born on February 19, 1988 in Killeen, Texas to Daniel Hamilton and Christy Hatcher. Cody was raised in Copperas Cove by Daniel and Karen Hamilton. He attended Copperas Cove High School and played baseball all four years. He will forever be remembered as "Codster" by his baseball buddies. Cody's greatest joy was the birth of his daughter, Kayleigh Ann Hamilton.
Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mark "Peepa" and Helen "Lala" Smith and Betty Hatcher.
Cody is survived by his parents, Daniel and Karen Hamilton; mother, Christy Hatcher and Glen Norris; brothers, Christopher Ochoa and wife, Leeza, John David Dean; sister, Brandi Hamilton and fiancé, Christopher Aguilar; daughter, Kayleigh Ann Hamilton and her mother, Princess Bonsall; grandparents, Marvin and Amelia Blanton Hamilton, Mary "Meeme" Watkins; nephew, Benjamin Aguilar; twin nieces, Hailey and Hannah Aguilar; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
