Chayton Alexander Garcia

Chayton Alexander Garcia, age 2 died Friday May 22, 2020 at Baylor Scott & White McLane’s Children’s Hospital in Temple. Chayton was born May 24, 2017 in Brownwood, Texas to Heather Penny and Jacobo Garcia III. He was a loving boy who liked playing with his John Deere tractor, helping to feed and take care of the animals around the house. Chayton liked riding the mower with Dad, and liked singing the “Baby Shark” song in the car with his bubba and sissy. He loved being pulled in the wagon by his brother David. He would always greet people with a big smile and say hi. Chayton liked to give hugs to everyone. He had a special bond with “Oma” and was always excited to spend time with her while Mom was at work. He is survived by Mother, Heather Penny of Copperas Cove Father, Jacobo Garcia III of Brownwood 2 brothers; Jayden Smith, David Martinez 7 sisters; Serenity Penny, Isabella Garcia, Lilliana Garcia, Alejandra Garcia, Esmeralda Garcia, Anna Garcia, Emma Harbour Maternal Grandparents, Trina Penny and Daniel Penny Sr. Paternal Grandfather, Jacobo Garcia II Great Grandparents; Sarah and Ronald Tomison, Gloria Lindley and Paul Penny. Chayton is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service will be Wednesday May 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Hills in Lometa. Burial will follow in Senterfitt Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. (Family requests each person planning on attending, please wear a mask for the safety of everyone)
