Charmaigne Elizabeth Seymour

Charmaigne Elizabeth Gambrell Seymour, 56, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2023, at her home in Lampasas, Texas.  She was born on May 25, 1967, in Groves, Texas to Darwin and Candy Gambrell.

A memorial service will be held at Pleasant Retreat Methodist Church, 852 CR 458, Thorndale, TX on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 2:00 P.M.  Burial will be private.

Charmaigne grew up in Nederland, TX for most of her childhood until moving to Vidor, TX, in 1982 and graduating from Vidor High School in 1985.  She attended Lamar University from 1985-1988 on a band scholarship.  In 2003, she and her family moved to Austin for an opportunity for growth where she continued a career in banking until 2019 with a career move to property management.  She was most recently employed with Goodwin & Company out of Austin, Texas.

Charmaigne live her life to the fullest and never met a stranger.  She loved to travel and was fortunate to see the places she had always dreamed of.  She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Charmaigne married Loyd Seymour in 1989 in Vidor, TX.  They were happily married for 34 years, recently celebrating their anniversary in May.

Charmaigne was preceded in death by her father, Darwin "Butch" Gambrell.

Survivors include her spouse, Loyd of Lampasas, TX; her mother, Candy of Nederland, TX; daughters, Chelsea of Lampasas, TX, and Brigitte of Midland, TX; sister, Paula, and brother-in-law, Davey Maxwell of Vidor, TX; her grandchildren, Jayson, Mayla, Noah, and Samuel; her niece, Shelby; nephew, Bubba, and great-nephew, Mason.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Baylor Scott and White Hospice, 5701 Airport Road, Temple, TX.
