Charlotte Sebastian Bates

Charlotte Sebastian Bates, 72 of Lampasas, TX died September 14, 2019 at her home. She was born June 4, 1947 in Pampa, TX to parents Jarrell William Sebastian and Marjorie Elizabeth (Clements) Sebastian. Charlotte married Harold D. Bates. She was a registered nurse caring for people was her calling. She had worked for hospitals in Borger and Lampasas, for home health agencies and ER’s and diagnostic clinics. She enjoyed her family, especially the grandkids, she loved shopping and Polish pottery. She is survived by her Husband, Harold D. Bates Son, Billy Bates (Tasha) Daughter, Susan Carpenter (Ray) Brother, Ronald Sebastian (Mary) Sister, Carla Landry (Michael) Grandchildren; Cabri Rene Carpenter, Keli Ray Carpenter, Braden Joe Bates, Corbin Lee Bates, Wyatt Newell Bates. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.   Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, by sister, Katherine Smith.   Funeral service will be Friday September 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at First Street Church of Christ. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
