Though Doyle was born in Texas, he was raised until adulthood on the Monterey Peninsula in California and often said "he got back to Texas as soon as he could." Together, he and his wife raised two children in a little town called Maypearl. Doyle is survived by his loving wife, Priscilla; a daughter, Valarie, and husband Johnny Chambers; a son, Mark Morrow; and by his "special girls", granddaughter, Bailey and husband Colton Cockrell and great-grandaughter Briella Cockrell, and his sister, Laqueda Vader of California.
