Charles Floyd

Charles A. Floyd, age 77, of Kempner, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove.

Charles was born on October 15, 1942, in Dalhart, Texas to the late Archie and Bonnie Vaughn Floyd. Charles was married for a short time and had three sons. He later married Regina Ray in 1989 and he lovingly adopted her four daughters. They lived in Garland 30 years before moving to Kempner in 2017. Charles was a feed mill manager when he was younger, carpenter’s helper, he loved to garden and being outside. Charles also loved family and enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Charles is survived by his wife, Regina Floyd; children, Butch Floyd, Jody Floyd, William Floyd; step-daughters, Frances Casanova and husband, Washington “Nando”, Shelly Landreth and husband, David, Melissa Haney and husband, Steve, Jennifer Irvine; siblings, Christine Barone, Marilyn Noblett, Sammie Van Story and husband, Dewey, Alan Floyd and wife, Evagaline; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
