Charles Carder

Charles R. Carder, age 83, of Copperas Cove passed away on July 24, 2019. Graveside Services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at Copperas Cove City Cemetery.

Charles was born on September 12, 1935, in England. Shortly after secondary school, at the age of 19, he moved to the United States and joined the Army. Charles proudly served for eleven years in the United States Army before deciding to leave and reenter the military in the Air Force. Charles retired from the Air Force after proudly serving in the military for a total of twenty-six years. After his military career ended, he taught math at Central Texas College for several years. Charles enjoyed woodworking in his spare time and was a member of a local woodworking club. He also enjoyed bird watching in his back yard and traveling with his wife. Charles was especially proud of his loving granddaughter Caitlin Carder for following in his footsteps and joining the United States Air Force.

Charles was preceded in death by his son, Charles Carder.

Charles is survived by his wife, Kunchan Carder; daughter-in-law, Sonia Carder; granddaughter, Caitlin Carder.
