Charles Adams, Sr. SFC US Army (Ret.), age 62 of Copperas Cove, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the Scott's Funeral Home Chapel in Copperas Cove. Burial with full military honors will follow at 3:00 P.M. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Charles was born on July 24, 1952 in Karnes City, Texas, where he also grew up and attended school. He entered the US Army at a young age and served for 20 years, retiring in 1992. After his retirement, he worked at Carpenter in Temple for 14 years.
He was preceded in death by one grandson.
He is survived by his wife, Wynoka (Penny) Adams; mother, Betty Jo Kinney; daughters, Kim Rivers and husband Bill, Nicole Bell and husband Cleveland, Tracie Rice, Pamela Adams; son, Charles Adams, Jr.; two sisters, Mary Rose and husband Dallas and Patricia Foley; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; four aunts and three uncles.
