Carolyn Rhymes

Carolyn Rhymes, 64, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2020. Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Carolyn was born in Abilene, Texas on November 28, 1955 to James Rhymes Sr., and Shirley Rhymes. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her father, James Rhymes, Sr.; sister, Helen Castleberry and brothers, John Rhymes and Donnie Rhymes. Survivors: Daughter, Melissa Karcher and husband, Westley; mother, Shirley Rhymes; brothers, James Rhymes, Jr., Jesse Rhymes; sisters, Lena Biddy, Dora Pickens, Pricilla West, Sylvania West and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
