Calvin Wayne Hockaday age 54 of Killeen, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in Harker Heights.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at St. John's Faith Outreach Baptist Church, 3507 Cranford Ave Killeen, TX 76543, with Pastor Shirley Williams officiating.
Calvin was born on February 7, 1962 in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. He was the son of the late Lee Hockaday, Sr. and Ella Lee Hockaday. He served in the U.S. Army for 13 years and after his discharge, he served in the Texas Army National Guard. He was employed as a truck driver for ER Carpenter Company in Temple, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Mr. Oliver Hockaday and Mrs. Alice Branch.
He is survived by siblings: Sylinda Powers and Jeanette Moody of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Brenda Lasley and husband, Richard of Gaston, NC, Lee R. Hockaday and wife, Corgia of Killeen, Vernon Hockaday and wife, Joyce of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Thelma Lowe and husband, Tommy of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Gloria Jones and husband, Nathaniel of Henrico, NC, Charles Hockaday and wife, Jeanetta of Littleton, NC; Step Grandmother, Mrs. Ophelia Lee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
