Funeral services for Mr. Haley are set for Friday, Jan. 16, 2009 at the Sheppard Chapel of Memories. Mr. Haley passed away Jan. 12, 2009. He was born Oct. 23, 1972 in Topeka, Kansas to the union of Janice Grogert Haley and Benjamin Haley. On December 29, 2001 he married Yolanda Renne Blanch-Haley in Copperas Cove, Texas. They were married 7 years and 13 days. Brett had left the Army on September 19, 2008 after injuries prevented him from his Army career. His awards and medals include: Army commendatal medal, 2 awards, Army achievement medal; Army good conduct medal, 4th award, National Defense Service Medal; 2nd award; Non-commissioned office professional developement ribbon; 2nd award; Army service ribbon; overseas service ribbon; parachutist badge, driver & mechanic badge and USA recruiter badge.
