Brad was born in Littlefield, Texas to the late Bill and Linda Long Huckabee on August 29, 1968. Brad graduated from Morton High School in 1987. He later married Wendy Huckabee on November 3, 2012, in Midland, Texas. He worked in Oilfield Transportation beginning in his early 20’s.
Brad was a loving father, husband, and grandpa who enjoyed 80's metal music. His passion was playing drums, listening to his favorite music as loud as it could go, tinkering on anything that had a motor, and enjoying time with his family. Brad also loved being outdoors and taking care of his yard. He was a big kid at heart and enjoyed having a good time. Brad was always the most fun person in the room. He always put others first before himself, making sure they were taken care of and comfortable.
Brad is survived by his wife of seven years, Wendy Sue Huckabee; children, Brandon Scott Huckabee and fiancé, Haley Hughes, Brittany Ann Huckabee, Brent Douglas Huckabee and fiancé, Amber Holden, Cheyenne Elizabeth Huckabee, Tristan Scott Huckabee, Brooklynn Addison Huckabee. Brad also lovingly took in Wendy’s three children, Nathan Fletcher, Samantha “Pamper” Dunbar, and Sarah Dunbar; brothers, Josh Huckabee and wife, Terry and Brian Huckabee; grandchildren, Jace Austin Gagliardi, Lillie Rae Huckabee, Aubree Elizabeth Huckabee, and Wyatt Clayton Huckabee.
The family of Bradley Scott Huckabee wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Scott’s Funeral Home, all the doctors at Baylor Scott and White Memorial Hospital and Clinic.
