Billy M. Lewis

Billy M. Lewis, 72 of Lampasas, Texas died March 10, 2020 at Spring Oaks Nursing and Rehab. He was born January 25, 1948 in Stamford, TX to Mother Louise Lewis and she was married to Marvin Gober. Billy served in the U S Army for 22 years and retired as SFC. He then worked for the U S Postal Service for about 15 years and retired. He loved hunting and fishing and all sports. He married Ruby J. Allen and had lived in this area for 19 years. He was a member of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Lewis Daughter, Rhonda Layton Billy was preceded in death by his parents, by brother, Jerry Gober and by sister, Melba Allen. Graveside funeral service will be Friday March 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery with military honors.
