Billie Harold Weeks, 78, of Cedar Hill, Texas passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18th, 2019 in Colleyville, Texas. Bill was born on July 3, 1940 in Kingman, Arizona to Leslie Young Weeks and Ella Leona Dewey.  He graduated from Pottsville High School in Pottsville, Texas in 1958 and served in the United States Air Force 1959-1961 as an Air Policeman.  Bill was united in marriage to Erna Beth Cooper on November 24, 1962 in Evant, Texas.  They moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1962 where Bill worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company as a Truck Tire Distribution Center Manager.  His job relocated the family to Cedar Hill, Texas in 1989 and he retired in 1993 after 27 years of service.  In his spare time, Bill enjoyed hunting at the farm in Pearl, playing 42 dominos at family gatherings and keeping up with the Dallas sports teams.  He spent the last three years enjoying time with his grandson, Cooper. Bill is survived by his two daughters Layne Gollier (Clement) of Colleyville, Texas and Megan Anderson (Ryan) of Fort Worth, Texas; grandson, Cooper Anderson; brother Gail Weeks (Betty) of Lampasas, Texas, along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be on Friday, April 26th at 1:00pm at the Pearl Community Fellowship Church at 6735 FM 183, Pearl, Texas  76528. Burial will follow at Pearl Cemetery in Pearl, Texas. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 25th, from 5:00-7:00pm at Sneed Funeral Chapel at 201 East 3rd St, Lampasas, Texas  76550.  Memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association or any Dachshund/animal rescue of your choice.
