Billie Joyce Dudenhoeffer, 90, of Lampasas, TX went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 25, 2024, in Cedar Park, TX. Billie was born January 20, 1934, in Mirando City, TX to Walter J. and Nadie Faye (Shoemake) Andrews.
She graduated from Freer High School in 1951 and attended Draughn's Business College in San Antonio, TX. She married Alfred Joseph (Joe) Dudenhoeffer on March 1, 1952, in Freer, TX.
Billie was a homemaker while Joe was in the oil business for 30 years. They started out in Farmington, NM, then moved to Midland, TX, Amarillo, TX, and retired to Lampasas, TX, and purchased the Napa Auto Parts Store in 1986.
She loved serving the Lord with her music and began playing in church at the age of 14. She was an active member of the Kempner Oak Hills Baptist Church and was the church pianist until just recently at the age of 90, when she retired. She enjoyed knitting afghans and shawls to give away to friends. Billie was spunky and full of vim & vigor, she never met a stranger.
Survivors include Amy Ford and her husband David of Leander, TX, Scott Dudenhoeffer and his wife Lorna of Hobbs, NM, and her grandchildren, T.J., David, and Jaci.
Billie was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Joe, her parents, her sister, Dorothy Faye Crisp, her son, Alfred Joseph (Joey) Dudenhoeffer, Jr. and her grandson, Justin Scott Dudenhoeffer.
Funeral services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at noon. Burial will follow at Kempner Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kempner Oak Hills Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.
