Betty J. Stockwell, 84, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at her home in Copperas Cove. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Copperas Cove City Cemetery.
Betty was born in Proctor, TX on March 10, 1929 to the late Grady and Lou King Buckler. She attended school and graduated from Proctor High School. She married Nick Stockwell in 1951 while he served in the United States Air Force. They made their home in Copperas Cove in 1969. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and two brothers.
Betty is survived by her son, David Stockwell and wife, Betty A. of Copperas Cove; grandsons, Dario and Kirby; sister, Lavon Burdette; and one great-granddaughter, Lola.
