Bert K. Crisp Sr.

Bert Kenneth Crisp Sr., 76 of Lampasas, TX died Thursday October 26, 2017 in a Copperas Cove nursing home. Bert was born December 18, 1940 in Wheelwright, Kentucky to Alberta Clyde Crisp and Pearlie Mae (Little) Crisp. Bert served proudly in the U.S. Army for 20 years, retiring as Sgt First Class. His duty stations included; Vietnam, Germany, Colorado and Texas. After military retirement he worked for Civil Service, HEB and Oil States. He loved fishing and camping and cooking. Bert was an avid University of Texas fan.   Visitation will be Monday October 30, 2017 from 10-11 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Graveside Funeral service will be at 2 pm same day at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with full military honors.   Survivors include wife, Jean Crisp of Lampasas Sons; Bert Crisp Jr. of Albuquerque,NM David Crisp and wife Melanie of Lampasas Mike “Bones” Crisp and wife Kim of Lampasas 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren
