Benita Maldonado

Benita Maldonado, 95, of Lampasas, passed away on Thurday, September 16, 2021 in Lampasas.

Visitation will be held at Sneed Funeral Chapel on Monday, September 20, 2021, from 6 pm to 7 pm with a Rosary to start at 7 pm.  A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at 10 am with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Benita was born April 1, 1926, in Bend, TX to Felipe and Martha Aguirre.  She was raised in Lampasas and has spent her entire life in the area.  Benita was well known in the community and cleaned many people's houses and looked after many children.  She loved to quilt, cook, garden and was a life-long member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lampasas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Maldonado, Sr., and sons, Louis Maldonado, Jr., and Robert Lee Maldonado. 

Survivors include her son, Ricardo Maldonado; daughters, Anita McCauley and husband, Robert, Vivian Maldonado, Eloisa Williams and husband, Fritz, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, siblings, and other loving family members.
