Belinda Henderson

Belinda Henderson, age 76, of Kempner, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017. A casual memorial service will be held at Noon on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Scott's Funeral Home. Please join the family for a meal after the service.
Belinda was born on February 21, 1941, in Chesterfield, England to the Thomas Harold and Ivy Joy Spearman Barnes. After high school, she attended Art School in Bristol, England. She married and raised her daughters and later found a new lease on life in Texas. Belinda moved to Texas in 1994 to fulfill her lifelong dream of farming and setting up a horse riding center. She later met Jon Henderson and they married September 7, 2006, and set up the Longhorn Farm together.
Belinda was preceded in death by her father, Col Harold Barnes.
Belinda is survived by her husband Jon F. Henderson of Kempner; daughters, Emma Robson, Dr. Tracy Part, Joanna Ross; her mother, Joy Barnes of Castle; sister, Suzannah Thomas all of England; step-daughter, Kimberlee Rose of Pearland, Texas; and five grandchildren, Polly, Rosie, Poppy, Oli, and Isla.
