Armando Sauceda Martinez

Armando Sauceda Martinez, 48, passed away on September 17, 2020, in Copperas Cove, Texas. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Sneed Funeral Chapel. The funeral will be held in Mission, Texas at a later date, still to be determined. He was born on October 31, 1971, in Reynosa Tamaulipas, Mexico to Armando Martinez and Blanca Sauceda Martinez. Armando grew up in Mission, Texas and he graduated from Mission High School in 1991. he joined the Army in 1998 and served for 22 years. He went on several tours to Iraq, Korea, and Kuwait and achieved the rank of E6 before he retired from the Army in 2020. Shortly, after retiring from the military, Armando started working with TexMix as a driver. Armando married Marisela in Edinburg, Texas and they were happily married for 27 years. He loved hunting, fishing, working on cars, carpentry, and home improvement projects. He collected Hot Wheels and loved westerns and anything Marvel. He was a hard-working man with an incredible work ethic and always gave his best in anything he did. He was passionate about all the things and people in his life. He had a great sense of humor and he was well-liked by all the people he came in contact with. Armando was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Marisela of Kempner, Texas; daughters, Desiree Hensley, Jasmine Martinez, Maya Martinez; siblings, Conception Sauceda, Dolores Martinez, Blanca Martinez, Mando Martinez, Cipriano Martinez, Hugo Martinez, and Lorena Martinez.
