Amelia (Micki) I. Hamilton

Amelia (Micki) I. Hamilton, 82, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at her residence in Lampasas.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2021, at Sneed Funeral Chapel.  Graveside Services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Bethel Cemetery in Burnet County.

Micki was born August 26, 1938, in Bakersfield, CA to Sam Blanton and Helen Blewett.  She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  She adored her family with all of her heart, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was always cheerful, singing and humming while doing anything around the house.  She loved hummingbirds, gardening, dominoes, card games, dancing, and cooking for other people.  Most of her career was spent working for Copperas Cove ISD in the cafeteria as a cook.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Blanton and Helen Lewis; siblings, John, Leona, Dorothy, Marlene, Darlene, Rita, Roy, Billy, Dale; son, Jimmy Elliott, and grandson, Cody Hamilton.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Marvin Hamilton; children, Karen Arsenault and husband, Kenny, Shannon Boston Pate, Tamara Freed and husband, Jeff, Daniel Hamilton and wife, Wendy; grandchildren, Travis Patterson and wife, Jennifer, Jeffrey Freed, and wife, Sara, Tara Freed, Brandi Hamilton, Jayme Barrett, Christopher Ochoa and wife, Leeza; great-grandchildren, Lily, Kayleigh, Connor Freed, Connor Patterson, Benjamin, Hailey, Hannah, Cara Freed, Jordyn Hanko, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
