Amber L. Rivera, 24, of Waco and formerly of Lampasas passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2015 in Lampasas. Private Memorial Gathering will be held at a later date at the Beeksma home in Copperas Cove.
Amber was born on July 18, 1990 in Lampasas, Texas to Brent and Melissa Woodward. She attended school in Lampasas. Amber married Jorge M. Rivera on November 17, 2011 at North Point Church in Copperas Cove. Together they had two beautiful children, Rylan and Matilyn. Amber loved being a homemaker and caring for her family. Amber will be remembered for her love of reading, playing video games with kids, and her love of The Walking Dead. She was also an avid photographer.
Amber was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mattie Mae Formby; and Rex Formby, Sr.
Amber is survived by her husband, Jorge Miguel Rivera; children, Rylan and Matilyn Rivera; mother, Melissa Formby; father, Brent Woodward; grandmother, Anita Woodward; siblings, Timothy Woodward and wife, Vanessa, Bryan Woodward, Matthew Woodward and Brittney Woodward; one nephew, Augustyn Woodward.
