Amanda Lang

Amanda Lang, age 37, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019, in her home surrounded by her husband, children and siblings. She was born March 22, 1982, in Lubbock, TX, to John and Rebeca Rodriguez Gauna. Amanda graduated from Grand Prairie High School and worked in Child Nutrition for school districts in West, Grand Prairie, and Lampasas. She was also a CNA in West. She was a member of First Baptist Church Lampasas and served on various committees. Amanda is survived by her husband, Clint Lang, two sons Daniel and Alijah Lang, daughter Rebekah Lang, stepson Jacob Lang, two sisters Patricia Morin (Frank), Maricela Brown (Michael), brother Albert Gauna (Misti), and cousin Tanya Karl (Kevin). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be Friday, September 20 from 5pm to 7pm at Sneed Funeral Chapel, 201 East Third St, Lampasas, TX. Service will be Saturday, September 21 at 12:00 noon at First Baptist Church, 402 S Key Ave, Lampasas, TX, with Dr Rick Willis officiating. Burial will follow at Straley Cemetery near Adamsville, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to First Baptist Church Preschool and Kindergarten, First Baptist Church, or New Century Hospice, 451 E CTE, Ste C, Harker Heights, TX 76548.
