Alyssa Skye Ranard, age 11 of Copperas Cove, passed away at her home surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, February 5, 2013.
Funeral services are scheduled for 4:30 P.M. Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the Christian House of Prayer in Copperas Cove, with Chaplain Judy Hoelscher officiating. Burial will follow at the Copperas Cove City Cemetery. There is no set time for visitation.
Alyssa was born on January 7, 2002 in Killeen. She was a fifth grader at Martin Walker Elementary School.
Alyssa is survived by her mother, Misty Rich of Copperas Cove; father, James Ranard, Jr. of San Jacinto, CA; sisters, Riley and Peyton Rich; brother, Chase Brosious; maternal grandmother, Sonya Brend and husband Christopher; maternal grandfather, Dale Tatro; paternal grandparents, James Ranard, Sr. and wife Barbie; nine uncles; one aunt; and six cousins.
