Alvin (AL) Ray Lindsey

Alvin (AL) Ray Lindsey, 66 passed away at home on the morning of April 21, 2023, in Lampasas, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at Northside Baptist Church, 808 Casbeer St, in Lampasas, TX, 76550 on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 2 pm.

AL was born on June 10, 1956, in Lampasas, Texas to Vernon Monroe and Loretta Tittle Lindsey.  In his early years the family traveled wherever the work was, but finally settled in Leander, Texas which is where he grew up.

AL was a carpenter by trade but did a variety of other things in his life for work.  He enjoyed spending time with friends, having a cold one, and listening to Willie Nelson and Stevie Ray Vaughan.  In his last months and weeks he enjoyed watching Law & Order and every episode of Gunsmoke on TV.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Monroe Lindsey; his sister, Lisa Bonnett; and his ex-wife, Janie Lindsey, whom he loved dearly.

He is survived by his mother, Loretta Tittle Lindsey; his sister, Tammie Lindsey; daughters, Michelle (Carlos) Galvan and their sons, Isaiah, Luke and Caleb; Erica (Rocky) Nastasi and their daughters, Liana, Analise and Natalia Jane (NJ); nephews, Bobby Clopton and family, Trey Clopton and family, Cody Bolt and family, Joshua Bolt and family, and Hyatt Bolt and family; nieces, Meloni Stendebach and family, Jessica Bonnett and family, and Cassie Payne and family; brother-in-law, Gary Bonnett; cousin, Robert Nobles and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.  AL is also survived by his best friends that he loved greatly, Jay and Sylvia Hutchison.
