Alice Cummins Gauna

Alice Cummins Gauna, 68 of Lampasas, Texas died Thursday January 3, 2019 at Regal Nursing and Rehab. She was born October 9, 1950 in Lampasas, TX the daughter of Willie Leon Cummins and Lena Elizabeth (Rhymes) Cummins. She attended local schools and later worked as a custodian for LISD. She retired in 2012. Alice loved to go to casinos and gamble. She enjoyed arts and crafts and cooking barbeque with family. Alice loved the Dallas Cowboys and listening to music and dancing. She is survived by children; Joseph Maldonado (April), Wendy Maldonado (Julian), Melanie Cummins. Sisters; Sandra Blake (David), Susie Cummins Donaldson (Billy) Brother, James Cummins 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren   Alice was preceded in death by her parents, by sisters, Evelyn Daman and BJ Cummins and by her husband Johnnie Gauna.    Funeral service will be Tuesday January 8, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will Monday January 7, 2019 form 5-7 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
