Alice Marie Alexander

Alice Marie Alexander, 76 of Lampasas, TX died March 14, 2018 at her home. Marie was born January 8, 1942 in Lubbock, TX the daughter of Harvey Wilburn Largent and Esther Viola (Anderson) Largent. She led a life of service, first in the care of her family and later upon earning her nursing certification at Sheppard Hospital in Burnet. Her calling then led her to work with the elderly by serving as charge nurse for over 10 years at Leisure Lodge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She later retired from nursing in order to help establish and run the two family businesses, where she worked until the onset of illness. In her heart, she remained a nurse and a caregiver. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Alexander Daughter and son-in-law, Mylinda and Tim Peacock Granddaughter, Kenzie Peacock Sisters; Mary McNulty, Annick Watson and husband David Brother, Bill Largent Nieces; Mechelle and Mary Nephews; David, William, Lee, Bill and John   She was preceded in death by her parents, by her baby sister, Linda Largent.   Family will receive friends in a celebration of her life on March 24, 2018 from 1-3 pm at the residence 1409 West North Ave in Lampasas. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
