Alfredo Torres

Alfredo Torres, age 28, of Kempner passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1001 Georgetown Road in Copperas Cove with burial following at the Copperas City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6:00, Monday, September 6, 2021, with a Rosary following at Viss Family Funeral Home, Burial and Cremation Service, 1614 S. FM 116, Copperas Cove, TX 76522.

Alfredo was born January 13, 1993, in San Felipe, Mexico to Gerardo Torres and Jovita Ibarra. He moved to Texas in 2001 attended school in Harker Heights and later moved to Kempner in 2018. Alfredo had just started a new job that he loved. He was so excited, happy, and would always tell us about his new work friends. His job was just everything he wanted.

He loved his parents more than words can describe. They would always try and give him advice, but he never listened. He was always so stubborn but would always say maybe they’re right. Alfredo would go shopping and he would always call his brothers asking if they wanted something. He would buy clothes then come home and ask his brothers to pick out what they liked and most of the time they would pick the clothes Alfredo wanted, but he never once complained about it. He would always talk about how he loved his sister and that he was so proud of her. Alfredo was the best uncle in the world and spoiled his nieces and nephews rotten. Alfredo loved his family more than any words could ever describe. He also loved his dogs and would often show them off. Alfredo was always the life of the party everywhere he went, he lit up the room with his bright smile.

Alfredo is preceded in death by his brother, Ramiro Torres in 1990; and his grandmother, Josefina Ibarra in 2020.

Alfredo is survived by his parents, Gerardo and Jovita Ibarra Torres; girlfriend, America Monteclaro; siblings, Gerardo Torres and wife, Norma, Maricela Torres and husband, Gilberto Sanchez, Jorge Luis Torres, Jose Jesus Torres; grandparents, Cipriano and Maria Torres and many nieces and nephews.

Alfredo was a wonderful soul; he has left a special mark on all of us. He may not be here physically, but he will always be in our hearts and we will always keep his memory alive.
