Albert B. Rogers

Albert Bert Rogers, 86 of Lampasas, TX died July 28, 2018 at his home. He was born February 22, 1932 in Lubbock, TX to parents Hobert Rogers and Willie Marie (Bachelor) Rogers. Albert served in the U.S. Army for 23 years, retiring as SSGT. He was a helicopter crew chief. He was a talented mechanic who could repair anything. His duty stations included; Germany, South Korea, Vietnam, Virginia and Ft. Hood. He is survived by 3 sons; Stirling, Vince and Ellis Rogers 2 sisters; Willadean Rogers and Patricia Rogers Brother, Alvis Rogers 3 grandchildren; Tyler, Stephanie and Glenn Great-granddaughter, Heidi   Albert was preceded in death by his parents, by 2 brothers, Wayne and Milton.   Memorial graveside will be held Friday September 14, 2108 at 11:00 a.m. at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with full military honors.
