Charles D Ivy

Charles D. Ivy, 89 of Lampasas, TX died June 25, 2017 at Scott-White Hospital Temple, TX. Charles was born December 24, 1927 in Lometa, TX the son of George Ivy and Leora (Worthington) Ivy. Charles was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and lived in Lampasas all his life. Charles also served in the military for many years, was a gunsmith, made ski boats, water skis, and gun stocks, knives and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Elleye Ivy, his daughter, Sharon Barry, his grandson Chuck Barry, and great-grandsons; Justin and Dillon Barry, and by many friends. Charles’s body will be cremated and a memorial service held at Calvary Baptist Church on June 29, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Sneed Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
