Linda G. Jones

Linda Glennette Jones, 69 of Adamsville, TX died Friday May 12, 2017 at Hamilton General Hospital. Linda was born February 27, 1948 in Memphis, TN the daughter of Cecil McClain and Mary Kate (Casbeer) McClain. Linda married Hiram Walker Jones December 8, 1964 and was a member of Adamsville Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and had worked at First National Bank in Lampasas. Linda was an avid crafter and collector. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 16, 2017 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Adamsville, TX, with Marcus Foster officiating, assisted by Dale Adams. Burial will be at Townsen Cemetery near Adamsville. Visitation will be held on Monday May 15, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Survivors include; 3 daughters; Beth Foster and husband Marcus of Adamsville, Nikki Jones of Adamsville Amanda Simmons and husband Matt of Hamlin 11 grandchildren; Ashley, Leanna, Brooklynn, Zack, Alex, Justin, Marlee, Lane, Summer, Madeline, Ethan Great-grandchild, Taylor Sister, Dianne Wengenroth of Adamsville Linda was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband Hiram.
