William C. English

Mr. William C. English age 80, of Lampasas formerly of Michigan, died Saturday February 18, 2017 at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, TX. William was born April 21, 1936 in Midland, MI the son of Clifford Nathaniel English and Clara (Brall) English. William grew up in Midland and began farming to help his family at a young age. He later served in the U.S. Army. William married Georgene M. Brubaker November 27, 1964 in Michigan. William retired from General Motors after 30 years as an inspector. He worked a short time after retirement at a preschool in Midland. The family moved to Texas in 2007. He enjoyed fishing, collecting John Deere memorabilia, spending time with family, especially his grandkids. Viewing will be Wednesday February 22, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. Graveside service will be Thursday February 23, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas. Family includes; 1 son, Michael William English of Freeland, Michigan 2 daughters: Laney M. English Opperman of Lampasas Jennifer J. English of Lampasas 11 grandchildren 13 great-grandchildren William was preceded in death by his wife, by 3 siblings; John, Irene and Robert and by one great-grandchild.
