Eleanor S. Middaugh

Eleanor S. Middaugh, 78 of Lometa, TX died Monday January 30, 2017 at her home. Eleanor was born July 14, 1938 in Houston, TX the daughter of Justin Haltom Smith and Maxine Blanche (Williams) Smith. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin HS in 1957 and was a member of the Scottish Brigade. She married Charles J. Middaugh Dec 4, 1983. Eleanor worked for many years as credit and collections specialist for Nunn Electric Supply Co. and Marlin Associates, retiring in 1985 as Vice President. Eleanor was a member of First Baptist Church in Lometa, TX. Survivors are husband, Charles J. Middaugh of Lometa Sons; Charles Middaugh of Liberty County, TX Brett A. Davis and Kelly of Irving Byron Davis and Robin of Georgetown Daughters; Elizabeth Carter of LaPorte Valerie Briscoe and Patrick of Pflugerville Brother, Gus B. Smith and Kristi of Houston Sister, Christine Lisbony and Charlie of Pearland 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren Visitation will be Wednesday February 1, 2017 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be Thursday February 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Lometa, TX. Burial will be in Earthman Resthaven Cemetery in Houston Friday February 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
