Arden Poole

Arden Poole, 92 of Lampasas, TX died Monday January 23, 2017 at a local nursing home. Arden was born July 22, 1924 near Nix, TX the son of Jake Poole and Tennie (Nichols) Poole. He grew up in this area and was a life-long cowboy. He worked on ranches his entire career. He served during WWII in the USMC on Saipan, Tinian, Okinawa and China. He married Carol Jean Johnson September 195. She preceded him in death. Survivors are 3 sons; Jeff Poole Steve Poole Bill Poole 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren Arden was preceded in death by siblings; Roy Poole, Mary Ory, Susie Finney, T.J. Poole, Parma Watson, Tenny Faye and by one granddaughter, Amy. Graveside service will be held Saturday January 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Nix Cemetery.
