Doris Ann Fox

Doris Ann Fox, 87 of Lampasas, TX died Wednesday January 18, 2017 at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen. Doris was born January 20, 1929 in Sandy, TX the daughter of Rudolph Henry Sultemeir and Emilie (Hanson) Sultemeir. She grew up in Frdericksburg, TX and moved to Lampasas at age 12. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone as an operator for 14 years. She was married to Joe Fox and he preceded her in death. Doris enjoyed crafts, painting and crocheting. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lampasas. Survivors are her daughters; Sandy Holloman and husband Bo Tammy Pollock Sons; Mike Fox and wife Kay Winters Fox and wife Nancy Grandchildren; Taylor Holloman and Trent Holloman Zachary Pollock and Justin Pollock Derek Fox, Jennifer Craig and Logan Fox Several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews Doris was preceded in death by 2 brothers and their wives, O.J. Sultemeir and wife Grace and Warren Sultemeir and wife Ruby and by sister and her husband, Amy Beck and husband Archie. Also by 2 grandchildren; Jeff and Dewayne Fox. Graveside service will be held Saturday January 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
