Lucy Wallace

Louise “Lucy” Wallace, 92 of Lampasas, TX died January 17, 2017 at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Tx. Lucy was born August 24, 1924 in Blooming Grove, TX the daughter of Jasper Eddie James and Laura Belle (Tipping) James. She married Billy J. Wallace and he preceded her in death December 19, 1990. Lucy was a bookkeeper and secretary for many years. She was a Baptist and enjoyed cross-stitch, painting, cross word puzzles, crafts, facebook and was an excellent cook. She lived in Killeen from 1953-1984 and had been a Lampasas resident since 1984. Survivors include 2 sons; Wally Wallace and wife Tammie Jeff Wallace and wife Leihua 2 daughters; Linda James and husband Phillip Renee Barton Grandchildren; Alicia Jenkins, Regina McCall, Tracy Bender, Aaron Barton, Somer Barton-Smith, Turner Barton, Joshua Wallace, Caleb Wallace, Zachariah Wallace, Tabitha Wallace, Caleo Davis and Jordan Wallace. 14 great-grandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sisters, 1 brother and by her great-granddaughter. Lucy’s body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held Sunday January 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be sent to Wreaths for Veterans.
